清華大學世界排名26位，北京大學世界排名32位。
據外媒報道，英國《泰晤士報高等教育副刊》(Times Higher Ecation)11日發布了「2015年度全球大學聲譽排行榜」。美英高校包攬了前11名，哈佛大學排名最高。東京大學第12名，為亞洲排名最高的大學。中國高校進步顯著，清華大學排名上升至26位，北京大學上升至32位。
總體來看，美國大學仍在排行榜中佔多數，前50強中奪得26個席位，緊隨其後的是英國。
位居前三名的高校分別為哈佛大學、劍橋大學與牛津大學。第4到11名均為美國高校，依次為麻省理工學院、斯坦福大學、加州大學伯克利分校、普林斯頓大學、耶魯大學、加州理工學院、哥倫比亞大學與芝加哥大學。
在亞洲大學中，排在東京大學後面的依次是新加坡國立大學第24位，清華大學26位，京都大學27位，北京大學32位，香港大學位於51到60位之間，台灣大學位於61到70名。
《泰晤士報高等教育副刊》排行榜的編輯菲爾•巴蒂表示，「中國兩所頂尖學校取得的進步反映該國致力於發展世界一流大學」。
在這份榜單中，澳大利亞共有5所大學進入前100位。墨爾本大學以其良好的聲譽，成為澳洲大學中唯一一所進入前50強的學校(41位)，澳洲國立大學(Australian National University)和悉尼大學(The University of Sydney)緊隨其後，均排在第61至第70名的范圍內，昆州大學(The University of Queensland)則位於第81至第90位。

英國《泰晤士報高等教育副刊》，於2012年3月15日發布了2012年度世界高校學術聲譽排行榜。美國哈佛大學蟬聯冠軍，日本東京大學蟬聯亞洲高校頭把交椅，中國的北京大學和清華大學也躋身百強。
英國《泰晤士報》公布的該排行榜徵求了全球1.7萬名學者的意見與看法，排在前10名的大學分別為：哈佛大學、麻省理工學院、劍橋大學、斯坦福大學、加州大學伯克利分校、牛津大學、普林斯頓大學、東京大學、加州大學洛杉磯分校和耶魯大學。
變化
在2012年全球大學聲譽排行榜中，哈佛大學與麻省理工高踞前兩名，亞洲大學的聲譽排名呈上升趨勢，清華大學升至第30名。在這次連續第2年的大學聲譽調查中，美國大學在前百名聲譽最佳的大學中佔有多達44個席位，英國佔10席，日本佔5席。
此次調查的負責人巴蒂說，西方因經濟蕭條而削減教育經費導致西方學校排名下滑，而亞洲各國則大力投資高等教育，學術表現大幅提高。他說，從調查可以明顯看出，大學的前景逐漸由西方轉到東方。

英國《泰晤士報高等教育副刊》2013年3月4日發布新一期世界大學聲譽排行榜。包括排名第一的哈佛大學在內，美國共43所大學入圍百強。中國清華大學、北京大學排名進入前50。
與2012年相比，榜單前三甲沒有變化，分別是美國哈佛大學、麻省理工學院和英國劍橋大學。第四到第十位是牛津大學、加州大學伯克利分校、斯坦福大學、普林斯頓大學、加州大學洛杉磯分校、東京大學和耶魯大學。從國家來看，前百名高校中美國有43所，隨後是英國9所、澳大利亞6所，日本、荷蘭和德國各有5所高校入圍。
從2011年以來的榜單變化趨勢來看，美國高校雖然一直占據百強中近半數，但數量從45所下降到43所，英國高校也從12所降至9所。東亞地區高校普遍有所進步，日本一直是這一地區入圍高校最多的國家，但排名均有下降，而新加坡、韓國、中國香港和台灣地區的高校排名有所上升。
中國內地有兩所大學入圍百強，分別是名列第35位的清華大學和列第45位的北京大學，但比2012年排名第30位和第38位均有所下降。
英國《泰晤士報高等教育特刊》公布2015年全球大學聲譽百大排行榜 ，陸港台三地上榜大學中，香港和台灣的大學排名都有下跌，香港大學排名更是首次跌出前50，內地大學排名上升，其中清華大學上升到第26位，首次超過日本京都大學。
今年的排行榜顯示，香港的大學平均大跌20位。其中香港大學從去年的42位，跌到51到60位，是有該排行以來最差成績。香港科技大學排名從51到60位，跌到71到80位。 香港中文大學則從去年的81到90位，跌到百大以外。
台灣唯一上榜的台灣大學排名，也從去年的51到60位，下滑到61到70位之間。
內地的兩家上榜大學今年的排名則有較大的進步。清華大學從36位上升到26位，第一次超過日本京都大學。北京大學則從41位上升到32位。
全球大學中，今年排名第一的仍然是哈佛，劍橋則排第二，牛津第一次躋身三甲，排第三，被擠出三甲的是麻省理工學院，僅列第四。
亞洲區方面，日本東京大學整體排名雖然下跌一位，排第12，但仍然是「亞洲第一」。新加坡國立大學則排第24。
