一.语音方面
由于即使一个国家内部地域间的口音仍有巨大差别,如美国南北部居民之间口音差别,英国伦敦腔(cockney)和中上层阶级的口音差别,所以这里只对比“美国普通话”(General American)与英国南部RP口音(Received Pronunciation)。

4. 其他常见的发音区别还有美式英语里herbal读成erbal,省略h;很多单词的重读音节部位也与英式英语不一样。
